Himachal Pradesh literally means ‘Land Covered in Snow’. This North Indian state nestled in the Himalayas is basically divided into two halves with Shimla, the capital in the centre. The state is also home to the exiled Tibetan Government that operates out of Dharamshala, a beautiful town also called the winter capital of the state. The state is especially famous for its apples. It is credited to Satyanand Stokes who was born Samuel Stokes in the USA for introducing the apples in the state. The apples of Himachal Pradesh are well-known for their taste. The apples are a must buy for every tourists visiting the state, and the most important horticulture export item of the state. Himachal Pradesh is also famous for its tea gardens, spread around the slopes of Shimla.   1. Day 1 Start in Delhi and Head to Manali

    The trip starts with early morning arrival at Delhi airport or railway station. After refreshment the trip heads straight to Manali by bus 540 kms away. Savor the mesmerising beauty of nature on the way in Kullu Valley, Its lush green valleys, high mountain, deep gorges, snow-capped mountains view on this bus trip. Along the way have your lunch and snacks. Arrive at the hotel by evening; after checking into hotel just unwind or go to mall road to do some window shopping and retire for day after dinner.

  2. Day 2 Rohtang Pass Tour

    Get up early and after a scrumptious local breakfast, get ready for the trip of a lifetime to Rohtang Pass. On the way visit Hidimba devi temple, vashisht village, and old manali. Reach snow point and get mesmerized by watching the sunrise. If it is snowing play in the snow, or do skiing, snow scooter ride, and horse riding or simply savor the picturesque surroundings. After on the way back to Manali visit Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa Monastery, Manu Temple, Club House, Maa Sharvari Temple, and the picturesque Gulaba. Comeback to hotel and retire for the day after dinner.

  3. Day 3 Head to Manikaran & Kullu Town

    Get up early and after local breakfast, go for the trip to Manikaram hot springs via the picturesque Kullu. Visit the hot-springs and watch he boiling water. Later visit the historic Manikaran gurudrwara. While returning in stopover at Kullu, if you can afford try to buy the famous pashmina shawl. You can also visit the Roerich art gallery, Kullu castle, and Jana waterfall. Comeback to Manali and retire for day after dinner.

  4. Day 4 Move to Shimla

    Rise up early after breakfast check out and head towards Shimla, the ‘Queen of the Hills’ nearly 248 kms away. Check in to hotel and unwind. in the evening explore the various tunnels that link various parts of the city. At night take a walk on the mall road and indulge in street food at various food stalls. Comeback to hotel and retire for the day. 

  5. Day 5 Kufri Sightseeing Tour

    Get up early and after breakfast, on the penultimate day of your tour go out for full day sightseeing tour of Kuifri, the ski capital of Himachal Pradesh nearly 17 kms away. If visiting in winter head to the snow slopes and try skiing with expert guidance or simply play in snow. In summer, enjoy the greenery of forest, visit Kufri Fun World Indira Tourist Park, Himalayan Nation Park, do horse riding to Mahasu Peak. In evening, While on way back to Shimla visit Jakhu hill and temple, after reaching hotel unwind and retire for the day after dinner.

  6. Day 6 Pack up!!! Time to Go Home

    Rise early and pack up completely before checking out of the hotel, based on timing of flight or train to your hometown from Delhi. Head home with memories of this trip clicked in a smartphone or camera.
