Gangtok – Darjeeling – Kalimpong 5N/6D

  1. Day 1 NJP/ Bagdogra to Darjeeling

    Travelxploria representative will pick you up from Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station, and they will safely take you to Darjeeling, also known as “Queen of Hills.” The beautiful sightseeing and waterfalls of Darjeeling are quite popular among tourist. It is a perfect destination if you want to spend some time in the hassle-free environment. The hill station or you can say this mesmerizing destination is located at an altitude of 7001ft. It will take around 3 hours to reach Darjeeling if traveling from Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station. Take rest at the hotel and get ready for local sightseeing for the next day. 

  2. Day 2 Darjeeling Sightseeing

    Darjeeling is a tourist hub for all the visitors. You can watch sunrise at ”Kanchenjunga” range which is also known as the Tiger Hills. So get ready early in the morning for local sightseeing such as Padma Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Snow Leopard Breeding Center, Batasia Loop and War Memorial, and Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden, Lebong Race Course, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre.   3. Day 3 Darjeeling to Kalimpong

    On the 3rd day, Kalimpong is our next destination, and it takes around 2 hours to reach there. So after taking a short break at the hotel, we will proceed towards Graham’s Home, Delo View Point, and Pine View orchid nursery. And after that, you can roam around the areas of local market while walking through Rinkingpong road. The night stay will be at Kalimpong.

  4. Day 4 Kalimpong to Gangtok

    After having breakfast, the drive will start towards Gangtok. And it will take approximately 2 hours from Kalimpong with the the overall distance being 80 km. Driving from Kalimpong to Gangtok is quite hectic, so you can take rest at the hotel. 

  5. Day 5 Tsomgo Lake visit

    The primary source of attraction on the 5th day will be Tsomgo Lake, it will take near about 2 hours. The mesmerizing lake is spread in a large area, and is like a gemstone for those who reside in western regions. The altitude is approximately 12,310ft; mountains and long towering trees attract the tourist. You can capture the beauty in your cameras. Afterwards, the guide will take you to a beautiful shrine which is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a martyred Indian Army soldier. The name of a religious place is Baba Mandir.   6. Day 6 Departure to NJP
