Gangtok-Darjeeling 4N/5D

  1. Day 1 NJP/Bagdogra to Gangtok

    A Travelxploria guide will pick you up from NJP station, and drive you to the hotel in Gangtok. The Shivalik Hills surround this mesmerizing location. After arriving at the capital of Sikkim, you will feel that it is a mixture of different cultures and communities. The peaks of Kanchenjunga are covered with white snow. Thus, the ridges and mountains of this beautiful valley signify an extraordinary work of nature. For the overnight stay, check-in to the hotel and get ready for sightseeing the next day.

  2. Day 2 Tsomgo Lake visit

    Early in the morning, get ready for a beautiful drive to reach Tsomgo Lake. The Crystal Lake is approximately 2 hours away from the hotel, and is located at an altitude of 12,310ft. You can feel the soft wind and pure sound of whistling birds. The mountains and long alpine trees surrounds the lake, beautifully. The overall area in which the lake is spread is about 1 km long with an average depth of 50 ft. The next stop will be at a religious place, i.e., Baba Mandir. The peaceful environment and beautiful architecture will take your experience to a new hieght. It has been name after Baba Harbhajan Singh, who was an Indian Army soldier.   3. Day 3 Gangtok sightseeing and transfer to Darjeeling

    After a healthy meal, the first destination will be Bonjhakri Falls, and then after visiting there, we will proceed to Botanical Garden, and Santi View Point, Government Institute of Cottage Industry (Closed on Sunday, 2nd Saturday), Orchid House Flower Show, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, Dodurl Chorten. Government Institute of Cottage Industry are kept closed on Sunday, and second Saturday of every month, so it’s better to cover the destination before the weekend.

    After covering the beautiful places, the overnight stay will be at Darjeeling. So check out from the hotel and start driving to Darjeeling which is approximately 110 km away from Gangtok. So after a long journey, check-in into the hotel. There you can relax your body after a hectic extended schedule.

  4. Day 4 Darjeeling Sightseeing

    Darjeeling is also known as ”Queen of Hills,” as it is a tourist hub. People come here to enjoy the beauty of nature and overcome the stress of busy schedule. On the 4th day, you will experience the amazing sunrise over the ”Kanchenjunga.” It is famous for the range at Tiger Hills, and in the early morning, we will continue our journey by visiting Padma Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Snow Leopard Breeding Center, Batasia Loop and War Memorial, and Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden, Lebong Race Course, and Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre.

    After sightseeing, stroll on the Mall road in the evening. Here, you can enjoy the scenic view of the hill town. No doubt after a long journey you must be hungry, so do not miss the opportunity of enjoying delicious local dishes like momo, thupka and many more.

  5. Day 5 Departure to NJP

    Pack your heart with memories and drive back to NJP station.
