  1. Day 1 Welcome to Jaipur

    The trip starts with early morning arrival at Jaipur airport or railway station.  After arrival at the historic pink city, head to the hotel and unwind. After lunch visit Birla Temple, followed by a visit to Jaigarh fort and then Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh. in the evening explore markets of old city and do some window shopping. At night take your new wife to the iconic Choki Dhani village resort, for an authentic Rajasthani dinner. Enjoy the famous Rajasthani hospitality while watching live performances, and recreation of Battle of Haldighati. Comeback to hotel and retire for the day.

  2. Day 2 Tour of Jaipur Continues

    Get up early and enjoy the hospitality with a healthy Rajasthani breakfast before you start a tour of Jaipur. Start with visit to Jantar Mantar, an UNESCO World Heritage Site.Then visit the Nahargarh Fort complex, and then Amer fort. Spend as time there till afternoon. Follow it up with visit to Hawa Mahal, City Palace and the Albert Hall Museum. End your hectic tour with tour of city market including the famous Johri bazaar, and do some souvenir hunting. Comeback to hotel and call it a day after dinner.

  3. Day 3 Head to Bikaner

    Get up early and bid adieu to Jaipur by checking out of hotel after a sumptuous breakfast for trip Bikaner nearly 335 kms away. After checking into hotel relax after lunch. In the late afternoon visit Shri Laxminath Temple, Gajner Palace,Lalgarh Palace, Ganga Singh Museum, then follow it up with visit to Karni Mata temple, Rampuria Haveli, Bhanwar Niwas Haveli, and Chatri of Devi Kund Sagar. Late in the evening try out the famous Bikaneri snacks from the local market. At night comeback to hotel and retire for day after dinner.

  4. Day 4 Head to Jaisalmer, the Golden City

    Get up early, bid adieu to Bikaner and check out of hotel after breakfast for trip to Jaisalmer, also called the Golden city around 330 kms away. After checking into the hotel relax after lunch. Late in the afternoon visit the Jaisalmer fort or ‘Sonar Kella’. Later visit Patwon-Ki-Haveli. Thar Heritage Museum. Late in night explore local markets, and try buying exquisite handicrafts. Comeback to hotel and retire for day after dinner. 

  5. Day 5 Jaisalmer Desert Safari

    Rise up early and after early breakfast head straight to the Gadisar Lake followed by a visit to Nathmal ki Haveli. After spending some time there head out for desert safari around Jaisalmer on camel back or jeep with your newly weded wife. A trip to Sam sand dunes and Khuri sand dunes is a must. Spend time exploring the desert, if you have the adventurous streak in you try paragliding with expert guidance. After lunch visit Desert National Park. In evening enjoy the famed Rajasthani hospitality at a desert camp with live performances by folk artist and retire for day after a sumptuous Rajasthani thali for dinner in the tents.

  6. Day 6 Head to Jodhpur

    Get up early and bid adieu to the Golden city by checking out of hotel after breakfast for trip to ‘blue city’ Jodhpur, nearly 283 kms away. Check in at the hotel, and freshen up and relax till lunch. After lunch head out to visit the massive Mehrangarh fort. Along the way visit Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park and Jaswant Thada. Then visit the Sachiya Mata Temple, followed by visit to Umaid Bhavan Palace. In the evening explore local markets for the famed Jodhpuri shoes and sandals. Late at night comeback to hotel and retire for day after dinner.

  7. Day 7 Pack up!!! Time to Go Home

    Rise early and pack up completely. Based on timing of flight or train to your hometown from Jodhpur. Comeback to hotel and after lunch check out of the hotel to head home with memories of this trip clicked in a smartphone or camera.

 If visiting Rajasthan for the first time, be ready to face the heat as it is desert state. Always ensure that you have made advance booking for place of stay wherever you visit, since Rajasthan is a tourists’ paradise, rooms are almost always booked in advance especially during peak season. if you are foreigner always keep your passport and other essential travel document all the time with yourself. Police can check your documents anytime. 

Rajasthan allows you to wander freely and security checks are available everywhere. You can travel without any fear to any area. While life risk is not their it is important to take care of your entire baggage to stop them from being stolen.  If you want to go to go in trekking in desolate areas or those less travelled, it is recommended you let others know about your adventure trip. Also try not to draw unwanted attention towards yourself. 

When visiting Rajasthan ensure you are always hydrated by drinking lots of water. Keep sun block lotion to protect your skin. Keep general medicine at hand and always wear googles and use umbrella except during winter.

Till recently historic places under management of Archaeological Survey oF India or ASI prohibited Photography at most places. However recently the rules have changed. But in privately owned places click photos only with permission of management.

Bikaner is also a major tourist attraction of Rajasthan. There are numerous places worth visiting including Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace. National Research Centre on Camel, Shri Laxminath Temple, Ganga Singh Museum, Sadul Singh Museum, Jain Temple, Karni Mata Temple, Devi Kund Sagar Chatris, Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary, Kodamdeshwar Temple, Rampuria Haveli, and Bhanwar Niwas Haveli. Best time to visit Bikaner is from October to March.
