Shillong-Guwahati 4N/5D

  1. Day 1 Shillong: A lovely trip begins

    Your trip will start at the airport in Guwahati, from where our representative will take you to the booked hotel in Shillong, and we will embark on the tour towards the Umiam Lake.

    Umiam Lake: Umiam Lake is part of the very first project for Hydel Power. Here you can enjoy lots of water sports activities such as water cycling, kayaking, paddle and speed boating, etc.  

    After this, we will proceed towards Shillong where you can add more charm to your Northeast trip with family. 

  2. Day 2 Shillong: A day trip to Cherrapunjee

    The next day of your trip is going to be fabulous as we will move towards Cherrapunjee which is quite close to nature. Cherrapunjee is a picturesque town in Meghalaya where you can spot various waterfalls. You will be visiting the below-mentioned places for sure:

    Nohkalikai Falls: The height of this waterfall emphasizes the beauty of nature. You can see a waterhole there which becomes green in summers and blue in winters. 

    Seven Sister Falls: The fourth highest waterfalls of India are also recognized as Nohsngithiang Falls. You can witness the beauty of Sunset here. 

    Mawsmai Caves: The myriad shapes are having the stalactites and stalagmites present an alluring and extremely unique form of art and craft through these caves.

  3. Day 3 Shillong: Visit Asia’s cleanest village and go trekking

    Take a scrumptious breakfast and proceed further towards one of the most immaculate communities of Asia, i.e. Mawlynnong village here you can enjoy the Skywalk and can witness the beauty of God’s garden.  

    Another thing that adds charm to your trip is the trekking of a double-decker root bridge; it is inside the village for two centuries. After trekking 3000 steps, you can take rest in your hotel room. 

  4. Day 4 Guwahati: Venture into diverse attractions of Guwahati

    The day will be somewhere different as you will endeavor the attractions of Guwahati today after having a nutritious breakfast in the morning. The next destination of North East itinerary is going to be the holy temple of Maa Kamakhya which is one of the most religious 51 Shakti Peethas on Earth. 

    On the evening, you can witness various other places and can shop whatever you want afterward you can enjoy the Brahmaputra cruise which is not included in the tour package, but you can take it as optional. Then rest overnight in your hotel room.

  5. Day 5 Guwahati: A lovely trip concludes

    On the concluding day of your journey, your morning will start with breakfast after which you will get transferred to the airport from where you can go back to your home.

Yes, Shillong is very safe place as the crime rate is quite lower than the other states, but when you consider the safety as your priority, then you should be little cautious before going out late night.
