Kalimpong-Loleygaon-Darjeeling 5N/6D

It is situated in an extreme end of a Himalayan Ridge & located at a distance of 24 km from Lava lying at an altitude of 1,675 mtrs. It comes under the Kalimpong I block in the Darjeeling District of West Bengal. Lolegaon can be reached from Siliguri with a 4 hour drive covering 124 km via Kalimpong and Lava.

  1. Day 1 NJP/ Bagdogra to Kalimpong

    When you arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP railway station as per your tour package, our representative from the team of travelxploria will be waiting for you there, and he will drive you to Kalimpong, which is a quite scenic beauty. The Kalimpong Hill Station has the height of approximately 4,100 ft. After the 3 hours journey, you can take rest in your booked hotel.   

  2. Day 2 Kalimpong sightseeing

    Have a scrumptious breakfast and continue your journey to explore the beauty of Kalimpong by visiting the charms of this place which include Durpin Hill, Pine View Point, and Jelapala View Point. You can also get immense pleasure from the scenic views of Kanchenjunga range where you can get the keen eye on the Tibetan architecture along with the vision of scriptures of the old times. Visit the Buddhist monasteries there, and after that, you can continue to shop for the extraordinary things of Tibetan art and crafts. The, take plenty of rest in the night.

  3. Day 3 Lava and Loleygaon excursion

    Start your morning with a lip-smacking breakfast and set your marks on the journey to a small village having plenty of virgin pine trees. If you are planning to visit Lava, then do not miss the Neora Interpretation Centre and Ratnarishi Bihar Buddhist Gumpha. Then dwell into the beauty of Chhengey waterfalls which are just 14 kms apart from Lava. Then embark on the tour to Loleygaon and enjoy the serenity of the environment with the view of the lush vegetation and the Himalayan Range. Then get the pleasure from orchids before coming back to Kalimpong. 

  4. Day 4 Kalimpong to Darjeeling

    Start your on-road journey to Darjeeling and gather amazing experiences along with lots of adventures. In the meanwhile of the trip, you can also visit the Lovers Meet viewpoint which offers the view of a confluence of Tista and Rangeet river.

  5. Day 5 Darjeeling Sightseeing

    The ”Queen of Hills,” Darjeeling is waiting for your footsteps to make a visit there and get pleasure from the view of dawn beauty of Kanchenjunga range at Tiger Hills. If you are visiting this place, then do not miss the attractions which include the Padma Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Snow Leopard Breeding Center, Batasia Loop and War Memorial, and Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden, Lebong Race Course, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre. In the evening you can roam the streets to have the picturesque view of the hilly area which seems like stars.   6. Day 6 Departure to NJP

    Take the last breakfast of your trip, and then the representative of travelxploria will drive you either to NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport via Kurseong. After that, you can continue your journey back home.

Although Hinduism is the most practiced religion here, most of the residents here are of Bhutan origin.

Thongsa Gumpa Monastery and Sangachoeling Monastery are the most visited holy places in Kalimpong.

Owing to the pleasant and cold climatic conditions of Darjeeling, tea is mainly cultivated here.

Among the cuisines, or dishes that you will find here around every corner and must be tasted are Dalle (Sort of pickle), Naga cuisine, Churpee, Shapley, and Sael Roti.
