  1. Day 1 Welcome to Jammu & Move to Pahalgam

    After a early morning arrival in Jammu railway station, head straight to Ranbireshwar Temple after breakfast. If planning to visit Vaishno Devi a full day trip is must. After visiting the temple have your lunch at a restaurant and start your journey to Pahalgam in Kashmir valley, nearly 233 kms away. After arrival in evening, check into hotel and freshen up, later watch the sunset from hotel balcony. Late in the evening take a stroll in the Main Market of Pahalgam. Comeback to hotel retire for the day after scrumptious Kashmiri style Wazwan dinner.

  2. Day 2 Pahalgam Sightseeing

    Get up early and freshen up head out to visit the Baisaran hills. Reach the top of the hill on horseback. If you an adventure junkie try zorbing down the hill. In the afternoon visit Betaab valley followed by visit to picturesque Aru valley. Late in the afternoon visit Pahalgam golf course. In the evening visit Tulian lake and Sheshnag lake for a stunning view of sunset. Comeback to the hotel and retire for the day after dinner.

  3. Day 3 Welcome to Srinagar

    Get up early and freshen up, after a scrumptious breakfast along with Kahwa, bid adieu to Pahalgam for a trip to Srinagar, nearly 92 kms away. Check in to hotel and relax for sometime. After a sumptuous lunch start you tour of Srinagar with visit to the Badamwari Garden, follow it up with visit to the Shankaracharya Hill and temple. Late in the afternoon visit Nigeen lake, considered a part of Dal lake. As the evening approaches visit the Dal lake and ride a Shikara to watch the stunning sunset. Comeback to hotel and retire for the day after dinner. 

  4. Day 4 Gulmarg Excursion

    Get up and after a hearty breakfast head out to Gulmarg nearly 51 kms away. The premier ski resort in Kashmir, its well known for its natural environment. Check into hotel and head out to Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve to watch the wild animals in their natural surroundings and spend sometime there. After lunch visit Rani temple, Baba Reshi shrine and St. Mary’s Church. Later visit the Alpather lake and Gulmarg golf course. Later in the afternoon take a ride on the ropeway to Kongdori mountains to watch the sunset. Comeback to Srinagar in the evening and retire for the day after dinner.

  5. Day 5 Welcome to Sonmarg

    Get up early and after a hearty breakfast along with Kahwa green tea, head out to Sonmarg nearly 80 kms away. Check into the hotel and after sometime head out to visit some of 5000 meter plus snow-capped mountains like Sirbal Peak, Amarnath Peak, Kolhoi Peak, and Machoi Peak. After lunch visit Gadsar lake, and Satsar lake; and savor the beautiful locales and don’t forget to watch a stunning sunset. Comeback to hotel and relax with your wife, and call it a day after dinner. 

  6. Day 6 Vist Thaijwas Glacier & Head to Srinagar

    Get up early at dawn and head to the Thaijwas glacier for watching the stunning sunrise, and spend some romantic moments with your new wife. After sometime comeback to hotel and after a quick breakfast; return to Srinagar. Check in to hotel, freshen up and relax for sometime with your new wife. After a typical Kashmiri Wazwan lunch visit Manasbal lake, followed by visit to the 3 Mughal Gardens namely Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. In the evening visit Kashmir Government Art Emporium, near Dal Lake. Comeback to hotel and call it a day after dinner.

  7. Day 7 Pack Up !!! Time to Go Home

    Get up early at dawn and head to DaL Lake for a Shikara ride to watch the stunning sunrise from Dal lake. Comeback to hotel and after a quick breakfast, bid adieu to Srinagar for a trip back home. Check out of the hotel based on your timing of flight, and head home with memories of this honeymoon trip clicked in a smartphone or camera.

It’s safe to visit Kashmir valley nowadays. However, nowadays both in domestic and international tourist in past few years. However, one needs to work around the frequent shutdowns calls given by secessionist, to visit various areas in and around Srinagar, the hub of all tourism activities in Kashmir valley.

Vaishno Devi temple, one of the most important shrine in Hinduism; is open to pilgrims throughout the year. However the best time to visit is between the months of March and October. The temple attracts maximum visitors during Navratri and Ram Navami. The whole trip going up , visiting the shrine and coming down, is a dawn to dusk affair.

The Dal Lake houses houseboats that are 2 kms away from city center. People visiting houseboat and wanting to travel on Shikara that are always available at the houseboats, have to make prior arrangements to avoid last minute rush. Both houseboat and Shikara travel are costly and better to get the tourist agency arrange for one, or fork out on your own.

On visit to Kashmir it is must to carry heavy woollens, sweaters and scarves especially if travelling during winter. Durable shoes are a must if you want to indulge in adventure activities. Better carry Umbrella, if travelling during summer or rainy season. Also must are basic medicine for emergency.

For visiting various cities and tourist locations numerous travel agencies as well as state government provide coach and tourist taxis. If visiting different cities on longer trips better to use mini bus. For travelling inside the cities auto rickshaws are best for commuting.

The trip itineraries guided trips are liable to change to provide some flexibility in the tour itinerary. However, while travelling in Kashmir it is better to keep yourself informed of the prevailing law and order situation as that allows make needed changes if needed. Also unforeseen circumstances like curfew, landslides, heavy snowfall can necessitate significant change in the itinerary, which may require change in accommodation and/or unplanned travel.
