  1. Day 1 Start in Munnar

    Your trip starts with landing at Cochin airport or railway stations and head towards Munnar around 130 km away. The trip to Munnar either by hired taxi or bus is an enchanting experience. One gets to see not just tea garden, coffee estatebut also rubber plantations and spice gardens. A brief stopover at the Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara waterfalls especially in monsoon season when water is full is recommended.

  2. Day 2 Tour de Munnar

    After a good night sleep and a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel. head out for a tour of Munnar and its surroundings. Visit local markets in Munnar and do some souvenir hunting or simply do window shopping, Thereafter head out to visit beautiful locations like Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Kundale Lake, Echo Point, Rose Garden, Photo Point, Blossom Gardens. Visit to Tea Museum set up by Tata Tea (if you are a tea lover) is highly recommended. Follow it up with visit to Pallivasal/Pothamedu and Rajamalai. After lunch head out to Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary, the last refuge of Nilgiry Thar goat and admire the flora and fauna. Spend some time there and return to hotel for a Kerala style or your choice in dinner and retire for the day.

  3. Day 3 Trip to Thekkady

    After early breakfast head towards Thekkady, the wildlife hub and spice capital of Kerala. The 110 km distance is covered in nearly 4 hours drive. The journey takes you through some of the most beautiful lush green hills and valleys of Western Ghats. Saver the site of wild animals in their natural habitat, visit spice gardens and if time allows go for a holistic Ayurveda massage to rejuvenate yourself. After lunch visit Periyar lake and wild sanctuary. A jeep safari inside Periyar National Park after payment of tickets accompanied by forest guides is highly recommended. As evening approaches enjoy boat ride on the lake watching wild animals and then retire to a nearby hotel for the night.

  4. Day 4 Alleppey Houseboat Tour

    After an early Kerala style breakfast head out to Alleppey; the Venice of the east. Reach Alleppy by hired bus or taxi to enjoy the famous back water channels where houseboats complete with all civic amenities ply the channels. If you can afford, stay in a houseboat for a night and get a glimpse of still working ancient Chinese fishing nets; coconut groves, plantations, and temples; feasting your eyes with beautiful scenery. Or stay in a hotel and take a boat ride, and relax for the rest of the day, then feast on delicious Kerala style dinner before retiring for the night.

  5. Day 5 Pickup!!! Time to Go Home

    Rise early and have a sumptuous breakfast. Then pack up completely before checking out of the hotel, based on timing of flight or train to your hometown. Head home from Alleppey with memories of this trip clicked in a Smartphone or camera.
